Hyacinth Girl comprise of Christopher Young, Neil Robinson and Luke Towart. Taking influence from Sonic Youth, Pavement and Iggy Pop, they describe themselves as ‘psychedelic pop-punk’. Having all lived and played in bands over in New Zealand, they also translate N.Z influences such as The Clean, The Mint Chicks, Boyfriend and Die Die Die! for the Manchester population.

Hyacinth Girl have recently played The Corner in Fallowfield and Trof’s Art and Craft Festival, and generally like ‘partying’ ‘noise’ and ‘doing spots.
